March 2026

newsletter header

I love ISCWest. The energy, the noise, the crowds, the people, and this year, the madness… March Madness, that is – where the NCAA Basketball Regionals overlap the dates of the show.

One of my favorite trade show memories was at my very first ISCWest. Neil Fallon, our sales rep at Datastrip, invited me to meet his security industry contacts. He believed our new XPressEntry product had value far beyond the refinery space where we had developed it.

I distinctly remember sitting with Neil at the MGM, watching March Madness on a 40 foot screen, speaking about what the security industry could do with our handheld: mustering, identification, port entry, biometrics, government credential verification, and bus entry.

The conversation turned out to be prescient. Today, after selling many thousands of devices worldwide, Telaeris is the global leader in handheld based access control.

This year, at ISCWest, we are taking our handhelds a step further with our latest capability – XPressEntry GuardTour. The same handheld that security uses to improve safety and validate badges can be now be used to:

  • Streamline and Plan Guard Patrols
  • Validate Checkpoints are Visited
  • Provide Guard GPS Location
  • Seamlessly Report Incidents
  • and more!

Guards love March Madness!

Best of all, this capability works directly from within XPressEntry, so while your guards are patrolling, they perform live spot checks of onsite personnel.

Come by and meet with our sales team at this years’ ISCWest (Booth #6054) in Las Vegas from March 25-27, for an in person demo of XPressEntry GuardTour!

They’d love to show you GuardTour’s capabilities as well as all of the latest features.

In addition we are continuing to expand XPressEntry’s integration ecosystem. This month, we are pleased to announce two new integrations: AUTEC XMP-BABYLON and DDS Amadeus 8, extending handheld access control, credential validation, and emergency mustering to their end customers worldwide. See our news below.

And as we go into the final week leading into the NCAA tournament, I wish you and your teams the best of luck. Let the Madness Begin!

DDS partnership announcement

Telaeris continues to expand the XPressEntry integration ecosystem with new partnerships that extend handheld credential validation and emergency mustering capabilities to additional access control platforms.

Telaeris recently announced two new integrations with AUTEC GmbH’s XMP-BABYLON access control systems and the DDS Amadeus 8 access control systems. These integrations enable organizations to extend their existing security infrastructure beyond fixed readers using XPressEntry handheld badge and biometric readers.

With XPressEntry, security teams can validate credentials, verify identities, perform guard patrol checks, and account for personnel during emergency evacuations directly in the field, all while maintaining synchronization with the underlying access control system.

By continuing to expand its ecosystem of integrations, Telaeris enables organizations to add powerful mobile security capabilities without replacing their existing PACS investment.
