This describes how to use your HID Elite keys on XPID devices using an XPressProx RFID module.
You’ll need both the elite key preparation card and the elite key media card.
Exit the XPressEntry Android application and open up the KeyLink application. First you present the preparation card. This should take 1-2 seconds to process, but should make the device ready to read the media card. Next scan the Media card. The media card scan can take up to 20 seconds to process. Just wait 20s and then try scanning a regular production card.
If that doesn’t work, we should go into the KeyLink application on the device and close and then open the reader and try again(turn the reader on and off again). At that point, it should scan the production cards appropriately.
