XPressEntry Install Guide + SQL Permissions

Overview

This is a step-by-step guide to installing XPressEntry and setting up SQL Permissions as of 3.4.6528.
Please refer to the video along with the step installation below.

Requirements

XPressEntry Installation
XPressEntry Prerequisites
XPressEntry license (provided by sales representative)

Install Steps

  1. Install XPressEntry on an authorized user/machine.
  2. Open XPressEntry and install the license file (Browse For License File).
  3. Change/Set the Database -> Create database with customized name using the correct server information.
  4. Select “Yes” to confirm connection to correct database.
  5. Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  6. Expand “Security” -> “Logins”.
  7. Right-click “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM”.
  8. Click “User Mapping”.
  9. Select database -> check “DB_Owner” or “DB_Reader / DB_Writer”. (Refer to your SQL Adminsistrator).
  10. Open “Services”.
  11. Start “XPressEntryService”.

You are free to now start on XPressEntry.
